Refund Arrangement

All fees paid less application fee will be refunded if the programme is withdrawn or not offered.


On premature cessation of the programme, all fees and charges that have been collected in respect of any part of the programme failing to be conducted on or after the date of the cessation will be refunded within 1 month of the premature cessation.


The programme is an academic / professional course with a comparable home course and the refund terms in cases of exceptional hardship, exemption and/or deferral are the same as those of the home course.


All applicants are required to register for the programme by paying the tuition fee not earlier than one month before the commencement of the programme. UCHE has the final right to reject the enrollment of any applicants who fail to settle the payment before the specific deadline.


Application fee and the Registration fee are valid for 1 calendar year from the last payment date.


Application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.


Tuition Fee and Registration Fee are non-refundable except the applicant has accepted an offer ONLY from a full-time UGC-funded undergraduate programme via JUPAS. (Note: programmes offered by OUHK and HKAPA are not UGC-funded and cannot apply for refund. All programmes offered accepted by the applicant included but not limited to VTC / IVE / Continuing Education Institutions and Community Colleges from Universities and all other self-financing institutions are NOT eligible for refund. Financial hardship and suitability of the programme and all other personal reasons are NOT accepted for refund. Applicant who is eligible for refund is required to submit an application for refund on or before 15 August 2018 (for applicants with UGC-funded undergraduate programme via JUPAS main round offer) Or 31 August 2018 (for applicants with UGC-funded undergraduate programme via JUPAS clearing round offer). Late refund application will not be considered. (if any)


Tuition fee is non-refundable unless all conditions laid down in the Refund Arrangement are fulfilled, the applicant, whose withdrawal application is submitted after the due date of the tuition fee payment or after the commencement of the programme, is required to settle the full payment of the tuition fee regardless of the total number of lessons attended in the semester.


If payment is made by credit card or EPS, an additional surcharge will be imposed accordingly.
